The Book Rest is the result of a life-long dream of a life-long love of books – any books, all books, old or young, fresh or musty, crinkly or smooth, soft or hard – and a place to read them in comfort and harmony.

All SECOND-HAND books on this site are only a selection of those in the shop; so if you don't see what you're looking for, please e-mail your wanted list to us.

Unfortunately, we are unable to post Internationally, but accommodation may be made for special circumstances. Please use the Contact e-mail to discuss possibilities.

The Book Rest is open Tuesday to Saturday 10:00am to 4:00pm, and closed  Sundays, Mondays, and Bank Holidays.
